Dr. Ernst graduated from the Vrije Universiteit School of Medicine in Amsterdam, the Netherlands after an earlier career in chemistry and physiology research. He completed his pediatric residency training at the University of Alberta. Prior to joining Infinity Pediatrics, he worked as a general pediatrician in Red Deer, AB. He has joined the University of Calgary as a Clinical Lecturer to continue teaching medicine and physiology to medical students and residents.
Outside of work he loves to spend time fly fishing and working on the family farm.
